Gun Legler lives in a little village near Gothenburg, Sweden. When Gun was 40, she left her job as a child psychologist and teacher, and went to art school where she learned graphic art (etchings and such) for four years. Besides that, she has also worked much with textile collages and watercolor collages. After buying her first computer ten years ago, she became more and more concentrated on digital art.
Now the computer takes up all her time . She writes "I have no education in computer art. I am self-taught. I work in PaintShopPro and sometimes Photoshop. I work mostly from photos, my own and others. Textures are very important for me. I think my love for working with textiles has given birth to that love. With my images I try to evoke an emotional response in the viewer. I try to portray feelings and states of mind in an aesthetic but not always pleasing way."

Intense.
