I should mention that I am actually taking a different class. I am enrolled in "Two Dimensional Design", but I was the only student in the class so Professor Nevins invited me to participate in this blog. I just wanted to mention this so you didn't think I was crazy for posting completely different assignments.
The Dot
The first assignment was to create five separate frames and place a single dot with a corresponding description for each frame.
I was attempting to illustrate a life cycle. Not a human life cycle of birth and death, but the life cycle of a product, trend, or even social or professional status. You can watch the slideshow on Fotothing: http://www.fotothing.com/slideshow.php?id=apab12d4

Nice job Anthony! I was going to say it looks like the cycle of birth and death, but either way works. When I first looked at the slide show, I thought the dot represented a newborn and how the child aged throughout the years. Great work! Welcome to the class!
ReplyDeleteVery well done indeed! That is the first time anyone has done a slideshow on fotothing... I like it! The frames flow into one another beautifully and create more of a connected series that way...
